  • + great graphics/art style + smooth and reliable controls - the enemies seem to act more like QTEs due to lots of damage dealt/received with stunlocking which suggests recovery wasn't really considered in design - the camera can be way too high in some places and not show hazards below the player which requires the busywork to map out the space below before taking the high path - the levels are too slow to introduce new ideas and instead spend a lot of time on filler content - the lack of checkpoints creates unnecessary replaying of the easier parts of the levels just to get to the hard part
  • Professionally well crafted platformer. Good sound design, graphics, enemy design and main heroine identity is strong. Gameplay wise I got frustrated with walljumping mechanics, but otherwise everything else is nice.

Feels like a complete game, has lots of feature/obstacles, very nice transitions and screens as well as solid controls. Jumping the wall was easy and intuitive, which is not always the case in these kinds of games. For some reason camera movement felt a bit dizzy, but I guess that is due too background. Spikes didn't stand too much from the environment even with red background, so when trying to speed through I got caught in them few times. Felt like adding more acceleration to runs might be interesting experiment to try. Tooth Fairy and Naruto enemies were hilarious, graphics look very beautiful.
