When the player robot collects more Buddies, it'll get more powerful. They'll be stronger together!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code myself, with some code snippets being taken from my previous games. I made most of the graphics from scratch, but took some from my own asset packs. The music and sound effects were taken from my previous games.

Good work, this game was pretty fun. I liked the art style - the animations and also the diversity of the enemies was really nice. I found myself playing it over and over trying to get more buddies. One thing I would note however was I felt like the game was a little too punishing. It felt very difficult, with the one hit death and also the difficulty of getting the buddies, especially with all the enemies blocking the shots on top of having to time my movement to match the box to shoot it and also dodging projectiles at the same time, it felt almost impossible sometimes. Maybe having the player have a health bar or something would ease the difficulty. Overall, very fun. Good job!
