It is a really good idea, although some polished needs to be done. There's quite some potential here!

Nice game mechanic, but it would be nice to automatically respawn when the player dies. Also, the game doesn't seem to fit properly on the browser. 

Cool concept. However, I think you should have automatic respawns when the player dies and a collider more representative of the spikes.
