Doodle Flump. Super simple enjoyable platformer.

Whaddup fellow jammer who also made a game about cats making biscuits! This game was pretty entrancing, simple concept but kept finding myself jumping because it felt so satisfying, particularly the purple platforms that give you an extra launch. Would love to see a little more polish, but this was enjoyable. Great job!

I liked the accelerating music. Gameplay felt a bit rage inducing with all the texture clipping, but still engaging.

Hello! This is the team that worked on Kitchen Kitty. We had answered "everything" for the question "What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?". This was a mistake! We thought the question was asking the opposite, as in what parts of the game WERE made from scratch. The art, music, sound effects, and everything else were made from scratch by the members of the team during the week of the Game Jam.

I am going to assume that you meant your team made everything rather than it being AI. Really cute artsytle, surprising fun and intense game, especially when the music started to get faster, I'm going to use plastic cutlery from now on! 🤣

Just had one issue, some platforms you can just go right through  from under but some block you, that was a little frustrating. But otherwise, good job! 💛

Thank you for understanding! Yes, it was an error on our part. Our team made everything, as you can read in the credits.

Its a beautiful and enjoyable game, is it right that you didnt create the code, art music not by yourself?

Developer

All code, music, and art were made by our team, from scratch. Our previous description had misread the question! We thought the question was asking what elements WERE made from scratch and NOT made from AI. We have edited the post! Thank you. 😸

I really like the witty pun of "cat making biscuits". Fun platformer and really cool thumbnail! Also really impressive that you made all the art, music, and sfx yourself.

Developer

Ahh, you got the pun! 🐱 Thank you for your kind words.

I love the kitty! I am glad that there is an indicator before objects spawn.

Developer

Thank you! We love the kitty too. 😎 We figured it'd be too difficult not to have an indicator!

Very cute art style!  The logo and cover immediately drew me to click.  The platforming is functional, and the forks and knives create a ton of chaos.  I never found an egg, so never made a biscuit.

Developer

Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed our game. 😸
