Love the art, wanted to see more of the game, didn't make it past the first wall even after reading comments.  Too many buttons to coordinate to get on top of the tree; not for the dexterously clumsy (which is perfectly ok, but maybe for a game jam, make the beginning a little easier?)

Such a great game. It’s a good thing I read some comments before I played because the jumping tutorial seems a little too difficult this early in the game (even though controls are explained in the bottom left). The big guy was a fun mini-puzzle too, I just walked back to the big room and jumped over him. I’m assuming that’s the intended way haha

I’ve got 2 points of feedback for you:

  • The attack animation seems a bit slow and I’m not sure when exactly I’m hitting the enemy.
  • Why not use lives to recover from the spikes? It’s too much of a punishment to immediately reset you to the start of the level when you hit one spike.

Other than that, it’s a cool game that I’d like to finish once won’t be insta-killed by spikes :D

Was a little lost in the beginning. I got up to the big guy but could not kill him or dash past. 

I liked the audio, art, and theme used in this game.

First wall is counterintuitive and feels like a bug, if I hadn't seen your comment I'd thought the game was just broken.
Other than that you did good work. The style is nice. Gameplay wise I feel the attack is way too slow, and shielded knights turn too fast so it's easier to just attack him in shield than to try jump over him to backstab.

Jump on the small wall then jump to the tree then the large wall. you can double jump and dash
