How does your game fit the theme?
You have to escape a literal storm, given a few minutes of "calm" at the beginning of each day.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did not create all of the sound effects and music, but I did create all code and art from scratch. Full credits in-game.

Woah, pretty cool, honestly surprised you could accomplish this in a week!
The game felt pretty good and is fun (and who doesn't like gamblin with the crates? :), and it could use some additional responsiveness, such as a translucent block placing indicator and easier inventory manipulation. Maybe I missed a key or something but it was very hard to go from inventory to equip area quickly (especially when under attack), perhaps it would be best to keep those elements next to each other.
Either way there is way more here mechanically than I could have ever foreseen, and I didn't really encounter any bugs.
Thank you!
The quick-equip button is SHIFT, I think I put that somewhere but idrk.
As for the placing indicator, I kinda forgot about that :P
EDIT:
I'm shocked you never encountered any bugs lol
This was developed in Scratch on a school chromebook between classes
The game is great, impressive to do all this in one week in scratch. I would have prefered geting the armor and tools in a diferent way, but thats personal taste^^.
yeah I hate making UI, so... no crafting or anything :P
I'm planning to make the shop more relevant (it was added the night before the jam was due)
Pretty cool game, wished there was a bit more to the mechanics like crafting or placing but still pretty impressive you did it in a week, great job :)
yeah it ended up kind of lackluster :P
the fact it was made in scratch gave me some trouble but im gonna keep updating it
Entertaining game! Reminds me of Terraria and Minecraft, but it still feels unique. Mindblowing how you used Scratch to create this 🔥
thank you :D
yeah the source code is on github, linked in the about (jn-game)
Done, lets rate back, your game is awesome
thank you :D
