How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme "Calm Before the Storm" by focusing on the quiet, tense moments of preparation before an impending battle. Through NPC interactions, environmental cues like darkening skies, and the player's gathering of weapons, the calm builds suspense before the chaos of the storm hits.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I used pre-built assets and tools to streamline the development process. While I wrote custom scripts and created some original elements, many assets and features were adapted from existing resources to save time and enhance the project.

This game is a masterpiece! The level of creativity and polish is just incredible. You’ve crafted something truly unforgettable! ;D

Pretty fun game, the art is so good, there are lot of npcs and mechanics are good, controls are smooth, very well done in a week congrats for real

suggestion: mouse sensitivity was too much, it would be nice if we could change it from settings.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the game. Adding an option to adjust it in the settings is a great idea, and I'll try to include it in a future update. Thanks again for the feedback!

Bro is a scope creep like me haha.

Developer

Haha, then we should team up and create a never-ending project!

Absolutely!

I liked the graphics and the basic idea of the game, but unfortunately I couldn't play it. While talking to the old man, I learned that I had to ask people to give me weapons so I could fight, but I didn't have time to do that because the game immediately threw me into battle, where I died. The second time I first went around the village and asked the locals for weapons, but then I forgot how to take them in my hand and didn't find the hints to do so, so I died again in the next fight with the ninja. I also felt there was not enough tutorial to how to fight, how to dodge, how to defend myself. I remember that it was shown at the beginning of the game, but during the fight it was hard to remember the right buttons.

Developer

yes to talk to old man there is still a stage of correction that I am still working on. but for the tutorial and all the input that can be used can be seen in my itch in the game in the control input when you download the game but it seems like there is also something that needs to be fixed for the tutorial at the beginning of the game, I should have given a click to close the tutorial window instead of time

Not gonna like I am really impressed how much is done in such a short time but it also shows why going for a smaller game might have been better as there is considerable lack of polish.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate the recognition of the work done. I agree that focusing on a smaller scope might have allowed for more polish. I'll use this insight to improve and refine the project further.

It's a decent start, I think but the camera does go a bit crazy as soon as you start fighting and opening and closing the equipment menu made me lose the ability to move

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I’ll fix the camera issue and the movement problem when opening and closing the equipment menu.
