I like the low poly design, and the city looks cool. Wish I could explore more of it!

Some feedback:

  • Have the player start facing the direction they should be going and not toward the elevator.
  • It'd be nice to have a controls screen. I kept thinking I could interact with the elevator buttons, but nothing I tried worked and it'd be nice to know that's not actually possible.
  • A more traditional main menu with a start button might work better. It took me a minute to figure out that you have to hit ESC to start the game.

Interesting!

Developer

Forgot to mention, press tab to pause/unpause and start the game. That seems important to know.

Awesome game, I was hoping for an extra mechanic to it and theme didn't feel all that strong. That being said this was a fun and interesting concept. I hope you update this game!

Bold take to say there should be any mechanic other than my half baked movement system! And I have to disagree that the concept is interesting, the concept is just “go up”.

Regardless, thank you for spending the time to rate it.

the graphics are good but the movement is a bit janky and i failed to climb the rocky area 5 long mins

Developer

thank you for the feedback! I love really snappy movement, so perhaps I overdid it. Which rocky area did you get stuck on? The first?
