Nice work. One improvement I would make is to have the music continue and not restart after each death. I think because its a game where the player can be expected to die and restart the level quite a number of times, having the music just continue is maybe a bit more seamless. Good job!
Fun game! Played it for around 15 minutes. I assume the colliders on your Player are a bit too big, it often felt like I wasn't touching the spikes but the gam registered a death. Try resizing the colliders and the game would feel more fair.
