Good core of a game. I would recommend adding some other player mechanics. Other than that, keep it up you're doing good!
Pretty cool sprites. I've encountered a bug where, after defeating Wave 2, most of the ground tiles disappeared (about 3/4 from right to left) and the game froze.

It also crashes for me, but it was fun to play. the enemies were a bit easy in my opinion, but theres a good concept and great work. Good game!
