The gameplay and sprites are very glitchy, and as far as I could tell the boss is unable to take damage and the player is unable to die.

I think there is something wrong with the export because I can't see the mouse :S I also can't see the powers to catch them. It's a pity because the style promises a lot.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, we did run into some issues as we were packaging the project, invisible mouse cursor being one of them, in addition to the power-up spawners.

I really like the art in this game. I also made my game in unreal engine. I was unable to see my mouse button to aim in the game and I think you need to set show mouse cursor in the level blueprint. if you are using c++, good luck, you know more than me.

Developer

Thank you for the comment! We did have some issues setting up the level blueprints, but for the rest of the game we opted for a mixed blueprint & c++ approach. While it did help keep our blueprints tidy & avoid some data conflicts, it also slowed down iteration speed.
Nonetheless, we're glad you enjoyed the look of this project!
