I joined this jam pretty late so I planned to focus on the gameplay and just use some free assets for the art but after re-reading the rules it seems that might not be allowed (I'm unsure what you mean by general use assets). So just to be sure, is the use of free assets such as the stuff on opengameart.org allowed for this game jam?

Originally I would have said no, but now that I've thought about it, I would say you can... but you must say in the submission post what wasn't made in the jam and where it came from. Also bear in mind that you will most likely lose score for doing so ie: use of art from other sites means no points in the graphics scoring.

I'm trying to be quite lenient with the rules here, what with this being my first jam hosted.
