Was fun, made it to the top of the medium cave. Did remind me of getting over it as someone else mentioned. I'm interested in seeing where you take this from here, because it feels like more of a climbing game than grappling at the moment. I think if the grapple leniency was increased but levels were made hard to master it could be a solid game.

Man this is hard as shit. It's cool though if you're going for a Getting Over it style. I got frustrated fast though.

Also, what's with WASD influencing motion. I didn't notice them doing anything.

It's very slight, and not quite necessary until you get the hang of things. It will make you rise faster with W, sway slightly with A and D. I took some suggestions on making it less frustrating below, and I'll see if it helps beginners.

I like these type of games but it has some issues not allowing it to be smooth and therefor fun..

Make the camera focus more on the mouse instead of strictly on the player object, look into camera lerp. It makes it way too finicky to aim with the camera moves away from the mouse. Also the grapple should fly out faster + perhaps have the clickable zones much bigger (initially i thought the whole light area was clickable). These three things put together creates more frustration than fun. Which is a shame because swining games are fun.

If you make it more smoother you can still play around with difficulty by making different sizes of hook zones and hooks that break etc.

Good luck, looking forward to see how this develops.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm touchy with changing the camera, but I should try mouselook nonetheless. I think making the hook hitbox slightly bigger may help, too, but I'll be careful with these adjustments.
