  • I really liked the multiple health system, with health, energy and sadness, A lot of strategy must be put into the game with this system.

    I had some problems playing it though, the jump button did not work sometimes. And the enemies sometimes spawn in a manner that was impossible to avoid them.

Runner. It fits with the urgency of the game.

Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
None. Most of the game was done for the TriJam 14 which ran in parallel with this jam.

Nice work. If you get a few shooting enemies that spawn one after the other there isn't really any way to live. You either take too much damage or your sadness gets too high. But such is random. Really impressive for 3 hours though. 

Also, I love how we both ended up with such similar game names. Really fun coincidence. Well done on the game.

As for the name i never would have thought two submissions would end up with such similar names, especially given how generic the theme is.

this game was fun to play, though I found that the enemies could fire behind each other that made an impassable line to jump over

Yeah, that was done so that they wouldn't shoot each other. I tried to mitigate it by not spawning too many enemies at once. I guess the random enemy spawning played against you there :)

all good though, been there random spawns are hard to get right in my experiences.
