I think it started off simple but surprisingly well executed! I agree with the rest that the difficulty curve could be tuned better but it also made me think that it would be a game loved by the speedrunning community. I would also suggest speeding up the text or having the button to show all text before changing the dialogue, for people who are interested in the story. For difficulty, a simple health recovery pickup or checkpoint would help a lot! Cool game!

Developer

Definitely could have done something to tune the game difficulty curve. And thanks for the feedbacks. I will keep that in mind.

rich depth for two buttons, very surprised that theres some narratives going on, the way you made menu work with only two button is very creative! :D

Thanks! I wanted to add even more features, a chase scene and a boss fight but I could not finish it in time. Hope that you enjoyed the game.

Cool game. Very difficult! You could put a small obstacle around the first enemies that block you from falling all the way back to the start, so you can repeat the first wall jumping sequence more quickly. This would help learn the mechanics a lot I think. Very well made game tho.

There are also some other places where I could do. Thanks for the feedback.

nice art

Developer

Thanks but the art were not made by me. Most of the art used in the game was made by craftpix which I got them in a bundle last year. CyberPunk Pixel Art - Collection by Free Game Assets (GUI, Sprite, Tilesets) - itch.io

Marvellous game! And it's very cool the have access to the menu with the same 2 buttons.

But it's very difficult! Don't forget that when you create a game, you get very good at it, and especially good on its starting level :D

I think it would benefit from a nicer difficulty curve.

But it's for sure a great game, congrats!

Thanks, I wanted it to be a challenging game, but yeah! I need to make some adjustments to the difficulty curve, I didn't had the time to finish the game in time, so I rushed the game development a bit. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
