I struggled to make progress but I think I got the hang of the controls. There seems to be a fair bit of technique required to get consistent results. Perhaps a gentler introduction would be a tutorial level with some basic obstacles that get progressively more challenging. Nice work, keep it up.
I didn’t know what to do :/
Edit : I found out how to stick, it was a bit clunky, but a nice game
This is a good prototype for a decent platformer game. I suggest reworking the stick/wall-jump controls as they are a bit clunky.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. Definitely going to change the controls
Nice game, the controls are tedious but manageable. Glad you could participated! ;)
Thanks a lot. I am currently trying to improve movement and controls using a different approach.
I really like the idea of changing the character's abilities to be able to navigate different surfaces. Would love to see more added to this game like levels and stuff like that. The controls are also a little wonky, I would recommend swapping the swap button (shift) and the ability button (space) as I think it would make it a little easier and intuitive to understand the mechanics. That's just me though, you might disagree and that's fine lol. Overall a pretty original idea, nice work :)
Thanks for the feedback. I am working on new system to handle movement. Controls will be revised as well. It's a little time consuming since this is my first time experimenting with this kind of mechanics.
Initially it was a bit laborious to understand the mechanics, but it's interesting!
Nice!
Yes. I absolutely understand. This was put together very quickly. I will add menu, tutorial and normal levels, add animations, smooth out some movements. Thanks for your feedback
