I like platformers, and I like the fact we can make a short jump in this one!
The ambiance was good, and the monsters looks cute! :D
A lot of times I was just jumping to avoid monsters that weren't not a great threat, so the sword and shield were really usefull only for the bosses (The second one was shooting on the right at some occasion xD). I liked playing tennis with projectiles, even if it took me time to get the good timing.
I could have go further into the game but it was laggy when there was the four plateforms moving from left to right. It became unplayable and the jump to do was hard.
Also, I had the same idea during my brainstorm of a hero becoming less and less powerfull, so it is interesting to see this kind of difficulty along the game.
Great job. :)
Thank you for your feedback, I'll try to fix it.
Very nice plateformer. Well done !
Thank you :)
Solid platformer gameplay. Nice touch integrating instructions into the stage. Love the defense ability and how that works in tandem with attack. The player character has good animation but could use a more beefed up design than a stick person to give the game justice. The tone of the music is simply perfect. I wish the music didn't suddenly go silent after a while. Is it a really short clip with silence at the end? The level design is very minimal but very effective. It could benefit from a clear goal at the end so it doesn't feel like walking behind a random plane. The variety of enemies is cool and how each one behaves differently. I'd love to see this developed further. After rating several games in this jam this is one of the few I've played the most and would play again.
Thank you for playing and feedback. I agree with the stickman design, It needs some improvement.
Great platforming and level design. Some neat platforming challenges in here. I mostly avoided combat though as it was really tough to hit enemies and not get hit(in the later levels), there wasn't enough incentive to engage with it.
The enemy design was very cool though I loved the raining clouds
Thank you very much!
