Uses two-dimensional "sprites", 2D images created and used on a flat plane, as opposed to the three-dimensional models or environments found in 3D games.

Simple, fast-paced games with colorful graphics and catchy audio, that require few or no explanations, can be played in short bursts, and usually require a lot of skill. Similar in style and spirit with the arcade game cabinets of the 80s and 90s.

Dystopia is a very dark future, the opposite of utopia. May contain, but is not limited to,  themes like chaos, pollution, censorship, dictatorship.
