Visuals that resemble strokes drawn by a hand, as opposed to digital authoring tools that create perfect strokes.

Only requires a single button (commonly the left mouse button or a single key on the keyboard) to operate the game's controls or interact with it.

Focused on using its text, moreso than its visuals or audio, to tell the bulk of its story/plot. (Still can have great audio and visuals, though!)
