PICO-8 is a fantasy console powered by Lua. Games are distributed as cartridges which double as PNG  images. 

Utilized combat systems where characters or teams take turns making their next move. Turns often have no time limit, allowing for a greater opportunity to think about strategy. The opposite of real-time combat.

Strategy game where players have to wait for their turn to do something allowing for more time for strategic thinking.
