hello everypony,

i am dropping in to say i have a newgrounds account at https://kerfuzzl.newgrounds.com/. i've posted all of my games there, thankfully all of them do more or less work on web, and i've also posted a handful of illustrations, and maybe i will continue to do so in the future.

i am very frightened & saddened by the sudden nsfw shadowbans on itch.io. almost every link that drives views to my games is completely dead. for example, https://itch.io/games/nsfw/tag-furry. i mean, look at that! there are no more nsfw furry games on itch! how is that possible?!

of course, they are still here for now, "merely" banned from search results. i hope that most games manage to at least stay available, if hidden in this way. but it looks to me like there will be no more views for essentially any nsfw games, and that might mean i will have to scrap any plans of mine to work on a longer term, commercial project. what is the point of making a game if nobody gets to see it?

i'm thankful for everyone who has played my games thus far. it's been a blast making them and sharing my art with the world. i hope to continue making games & posting them here and newgrounds, as it's not like any of my previous projects were monetized anyway. but things feel very bad.

i hope things will get better. i think we are only just beginning to see the artistic value of games about sex. we can't stop now. <3
