Goooooood morning or afternoon, lads!
Hoh boy. I have a pretty rough time. A crash and burn, essentially. Let's break it down. What has been going on this week?
Long story short, even though it was a week, it was pretty rough on me.
So, for a few days, I've been experiencing worse burnout than the other days. That, to nobody's surprise, took a huge toll on me, and I ended up getting little to nothing done in the game. Unfortunately, it's become one of those days when I had a hard time focusing and getting back to my project. But again, as I've said before, I wouldn't want to give up on this project unless I have to, and I don't think that's anytime soon, because a game worked on for this long is impossible for me to back out of.
Anyways, yeah, that's been a couple of days. Took me quite a while to even recover, which is a scary fact, considering my workaholic nature and always just wanting to do more.
Now, speaking of doing more, I believe that the majority of you viewers are still in school and are under the idea of a "summer vacation", where it's just a small way to take a break from school. I have great news, but I don't think it'll be beneficial for my progression in this game. ESPECIALLY considering that the rigor of my future courses is going to be much more challenging as I approach the last years before I end up heading back into the real world, that is, college.
So, not only am I burnt out, I'm being deep-fried with expectations of my possible courses next year.
...But you know what? In the end, it's all going to be worth it just for this game to be complete and for me to be accepted to USC or something. That's just been a forever dream for a long time.

OK, OK. Let's stop ranting about life and move onto the main event of this damn post, the game itself.
Yes, while I did say I was not going to do much, I still may as well show what I have completed. Currently, there has been a lasting bug with the auto battlers, but I may have gotten that fixed, and now I may move on to better parts.
The better part, mentioned, is this pretty good-looking picture:
Welcome to Phye's domain. He's been enlisted as your trainer, and he'll do anythin' to make you stronger and beat the crap out of those enemies outside the walls of the Staerie Kingdom.
I still, of course, plan to add some voice acting and sprinkle lore here for a really quick introduction to him as well...
Phye (Pronounced Fie) is the first Ninja Staer that's had jagged edges from his own ambitions. He's always been extremely disciplined and always proud to be the one Staer who's involved in the fighting style of Star-Fu. Yes, it's just a specific fighting style, but he's involved in spinning a lot and even ripping his opponent to shreds with a few weapons. The weapons on his shelf in the back are all dismantled from his failed projects that unfortunately didn't last for too long, but he's still proud to have welded them all at some point.
Now, he simply appeared just as regularly as any other Staer, but he's just become pretty aggressive with himself to be as powerful as he can. Thankfully, Heat is able to be great acquaintances with him due to their similar strengths, and it's even been noted that they hung out a lot together getting Y’Loke smoothies. Just don't tell Staerie about this; he'll get a bit upset.
Anyways, yeah. That's Phye's lore. There's more to it, but until I work on an entire encyclopedia of the game (which is hopefully to be completed very last), these will work as a way to just create an outline.
For next week, since I'm essentially just working freely, I'll do my best to see if I can get organized for my summer break, make sure I sign up for what I need to sign up for, and I'll probably have to keep myself updated.
I can assure you I'll manage to brainstorm up the 4 minigames for each of the small challenges. They'll connect to an EXP system, which I haven't put in yet, which will be inputted as time goes on. However, with the amount of stress and my occasional burnouts, it'll be tough for me to focus entirely on getting this game to its peak performance. It's especially notable when, in reality, I have way too much to learn in the end...

If you'd like to keep track of more of my progress and further invest in my time or even try to chat with other smaller random gamers who want to make silly games, you can check out this Discord channel. You can support my growth, provide suggestions, and hopefully help me improve as a game developer entirely. Or, you could follow me on Reddit and see what kind of kiddle questions and answers I give to others. Or, now you can track a bit of my progress on my Youtube channel. This is mainly going to include small videos, including some progress with my coding and uploads for my video-dev logs.
So, as of now, the discord channel is being gate-kept, due to a lack of helpers and testers to hopefully get the server working as it needs to. However, I will also plan to get then server working sooner or later.

That being said, I'm glad if you read this far, and wish me more luck with my programming skills and game development skills even more. Gooood bye!
