It would appear that I have to make an introductory post for my assignment. I don't know what to say.
I like to make games, and I am going to university to learn how to make games. I have made games in the past, and a lot of unfinished games, I have worked in Unity and Godot, Unity is the engine I used for all of my unfinished projects, and Godot is what I have changed to recently, and has been what I've been making actual games with. We have to use GDevelop for this course, and frankly it's worse and harder to use than Godot, I would even rather use Unity over GDevelop (god forbid). It is what it is though, I will just try my best to minmax my time in GDevelop so I can minimise the migraines it causes me. Onto a more light note though, what games do I enjoy? I don't really know, I don't play many games. in the last two weeks I have about five hours on steam, four of those hours were in blender. Apart from that though I really like replayable games, roguelites and the such, Noita is my absolute favourite but games like The Binding of Isaac and Terraria are very close behind it. When I was a kid I played Borderlands 1 & 2 a lot, but I've fallen out of that. Uhhh, yeah. That's all I can think of. Wait no, recently I've been making post-processing shaders on my own and have been absolutely loving it, here's what I worked on most recently:
The art is still very much prototypical, but this is a stack of post-processing effects to simulate a shitty camera look. Other than that though I have made a colour quantisation and dithering effect which has nothing to do with the camera effects:
This is just the same image minus the the post-processing effects. Well that really should be it, cya.
P.S. I will probably not be uploading any good games or projects on this account, especially not my magnum opus ^^^^ (That project is my masterpiece, for now).
