Games have brought lots of pleasure to our lives. Some people consider gaming a significant part of their life. However, some people appear to be too obsessed with games. In this blog post, I want to talk about the series “Grand Theft Auto” and its “negative” impact on society.

              Several years ago, I started to notice news reports about some teenagers committing crimes after playing games like GTA or Watch Dogs. For me, it is evident that these games are not the cause of all these problems. I reckon that the main problem is that some people are not mentally strong enough to understand that if something is allowed to be done in a game that does not mean that they can do it in real life. I think that games like GTA must be forbidden for people with aggression issues or for mentally unstable people. In my opinion, that is unfair that society blames games just because some unstable people get triggered after playing them. Speaking of “Grand Theft Auto V” itself, it is obvious that this game illustrates all the worst consequences of riots and criminal lifestyles. The main characters in this game are absolute evils and by looking at them, it is evident that they cannot be authorities. On the one hand, Michael has trust issues with his family. On the other hand, he does not spend enough time with his family. Trevor is a psycho who cannot control himself being sober. There is nothing to say about him when he is not “sober”. Franklin used to be a criminal and after he got the opportunity to earn money, he did not even think what the price of all the money he would get.

              To conclude, speaking of GTA V I think it is obvious that developers were making a game whose objective was not only to bring pleasure to players but also to show them all the negative aspects of crimes.
