Project 2D: (Few) More Updates

Hello again.

First off, belated Happy New Year to everyone. May 2024 bring more blessings than the previous years.

Anyway, I'll get straight to the point of this new post.

I've already done quite a lot of progress on this game's demo. Of course, there are still a lot of things yet to implement, but I'm getting there. I've finally got to implement a puzzle system. And although it's not fully complete, at least it's now being used.

Here's a little GIF of how the current demo's dialogue system looks:
(I couldn't get the video embed to work properly for some reason.)

This house is quite basic. Wait no, VERY basic.

You can tell that the UI is quite stylized, and I personally decided to have it that way. Mostly thanks to Adam C. Younis, who by the way is a really great pixel artist and developer. He's currently working on his own game, Insignia.

Sadly, this is all that I can provide for now. I sincerely apologize for the lack of content in these updates. I'm mostly focused on making a living right now, so I don't have much time every week to work on this demo.

So, as I've mentioned in pretty much all of my previous posts, I hope to make the next update have more to show and not take so long.

Thank you so much for having the time to read this post, and God bless.
