Hello World,
I'm trying to reignite my desire to be a game dev, my aim is to learn C# and unity and build a portfolio of games which will give me the necessary skills to make my dream game.
I've chosen to follow the Unity learn course entitled "Design and Publish Your Original Game: Unity USC Games Unlocked" to keep me structured and on track to actually go through the motions of releasing my first game.
Apart from an intro this post is to explore the theme of this project that i'm calling Project Zero, meaning that i'm starting on the ground floor trying to work my way up to something worth of ...
Exploring themes - The goal is to impose some limitation to the design.
1) An endless runner type of game, whereby you move the world around the player, and have no control over the actual payer.
2) Simon says type game with the theme of Benin Bronzes
3) Simple ball breaking tiles game, but player rotates the world around the ball rather than direct control over the ball.
My mind is on option 2 as it should be something that I can finish with my current skill set and satisfies my desire to incorporate an African theme/ Art.
Thought this would be a shorter post, thanks for reading.
Happy for any thoughts or comments on my ideas.
