Supplements: THE KEEP OFF THE GRASS; SHADOWDARK

WE HAVE MORE

We released The Hall of Eininnell today, which is extremely exciting. BUT we added even more. We can't just release one thing - that just would not be okay. SO we released a Shadowdark Supplement and a DUNGEONS & FLAGGINS supplement.

POSITIVELY, CLASSLESS is a Shadowdark RPG supplement that provides guidelines for playing in a classless system. Class is annoying for players because - why can't I play a bow toting ranger and a wizard at the same time? It is 2023. And it is frustrating for DM's too because their worlds are constantly constricted by the confines of established classes and they need to create ridiculous justifications for why a Knight cannot be a Priest. In POSITIVELY, CLASSLESS, we provide three alternatives to class-based play - from one-class methods to more broad and open methods of character creation. Our overall goal was to provide a way players and DM's could have awesome wizards who are not wusses and Barbarians who are not morons.

THE KEEP OFF THE GRASS is a Dungeons & Flaggins supplement that provides rules and tips for playing world-exploration style games of the world's favorite alternative to an alternative of the world's favorite roleplaying game; and for games that can last longer than one session and become formal campaigns. With this supplement we combine the goal of Dungeons & Flaggins (the introduction of TTRPG's to your game-night environment) alongside the open door of transitioning into a formal TTRPG environment without surrendering the co-creativity, simplicity, and ease of prep that Dungeons & Flaggins DM's enjoy in the single-night dungeon life. This supplement, we hope, will allow people who want to play TTRPG's so bad, and who may be a little afraid to DM, the opportunity to trick their friends into a game, even a longer campaign game, without being overwhelmed or overwhelming anyone else. Is it a gateway game? Maybe. But we like it a lot.

We hope you enjoy everything we put out today; we love you in a totally platonic, non-capitalist, non-creepy way. Happy gaming.
