after working on the food system during last week I think the best course of action is to slim down the feature. I've created the base outline that mostly works for our game. however after working with it my original idea seems to complex with not enough gained in return. so I'm gonna to set it up in a simpler way and gear it more towards an arcade feel. In conclusion, after spending time working on the food system, I have come to the decision that it needs to be slimmed down in order to keep our game within scope. While my original idea was more complex, I have realized that it doesn't add enough value to the game to justify the additional time and resources required.
