The is a second post for my Connected Games assignment at Kingston University UK. The game as previously stated in progress update 1 is called Robomonks and is a Coop based game set in a post apocalyptic world.
In this update, I have made a part of the player's combat system. The combat system of the player consists of a Ray Gun based ability system and Melee system. The Ray gun system comprises of three types of rays - fire (red color ray), water (blue colored ray) and earth (green colored ray). Each ray is set to destroy enemies that are fire, water or earth based.
Currently, when one player fires the ray on the enemy, nothing will happen. But when two players fire the same type of ray on the enemy, depending on the type of enemey they wiil be destroyed.
In the future, the enemy will receive damage as per the number of players firing the same type of ray on him. So, the more the players, more will be the damage dealt to enemy.
