In the last couple of week leading up to the big presentation production has been great! A lot of last minute changes before the hand in but it all got done. Before going into the changes to the game, I wanted to mention that I felt really a bad about missing the presentation day. I was really looking forward to it but life happens :(

Anyways, my goal for the last couple of weeks has been to implement new game mechanics that would reinforce the core message (save the frogs).  What I decided to focus on was adding a narrative layer to our game that would explicitly tell the player why they are playing the game. I did so by implementing voice over! With the addition of a narrator to our game,  suddenly there was a light humorous undertone that would heavily contrast the themes present in our game. We had a funny narrator (who btw was Earl James Jones ie darth vader) who was implement via AI voice overs, a funny frog and a traditional 3D platformer look. By using those element to contrast the darker elements of the game it really allowed the message of the game to shine and have players be somewhat invested in the game.

Additionally I worked alot of the end of the game. Implementing a zoom over the map to show players their total progress, a credit scene for the talented designers on the project and lastly a final voice over that would reaffirm that the action that the player took in the game mattered and that any contribution to our cause is helpful.

Overall, I am proud of our final product and would like to dedicate this section to thank my team. Thank you for all of your hard work over the semester, thank you for being extremely competent and thank you for being supportive! This is the best team I have had for a large scale project and its thanks to you guys! Be Proud!!!
