Devlog-03

Production is going awesome! I feel extremely confident about our product and right now the team is in the final stages of polishing. I recently added a highly requested feature that was suggested by our prof. Controller support is the latest feature of the game allowing for players to finally be able to play with whatever tools make them feel comfortable!

Additionally, since the core of the project is finished I've had some time to learn and experiment with some tools that I've never used before. Cinematic sequencing is the process of making cutscenes that are rendered in real time. I've been mostly experimenting with how we can showcase our message better and the solution to that was to make a beginning and end cutscene that would explicitly tell the player what their goal is.

Alongside the actual camera sequencing I've used some of the skills I've learned in the audio design class to implement both music and voiceover. I used a tool called Voice.AI to change the sound of my voice and narrate some of the cinematics, making sure to clearly state where the player is, what is happening, where they have to go, possible obstacle and their overall goal.

QOL changes are something that I've been able to tackle as  well, alongside some bug fixes. Since the project was pretty much done a month ago I've had the luxury to experiment and polish our game and it' s been super fun!
