At the beginning of this week, I continued working on using controllers in widgets. Watching many YouTube videos and searching online, I couldn't find a solution to this problem, even though it looked so difficult.
After looking at a lot of tutorials, I realized that widgets didn't work with keys either, and that was the real problem behind the widgets. I was able to make it work partly, as it only did a focus the first time and only in the main menu and not on its submenus. After a lot of research along with my professor in the Unreal posts, I was able to get the main menu and the rest of the menus, such as pause, shop, and skill tree menus, working with keys and controllers.
