The Penultimate post!
Home stretch now!
First up we have The Acid Pit!
I've said before I have one location per exotic damage type.
Great Glacier for Ice, Mushroom Forest for Poison, Cloud Castle for Lightning.
And now, the Acid Pit for... acid, funnily enough.
This is your proper comic book acid. Bright green, sizzling,
and with a strong chance you'll fall in, because there's never any guard rails in fantasy.
I made the core creature of this place the Great Slug,
which is my version of all of the oozes and slime's of modern fantasy.
To make it even greater, I added three variants, one per size category.
I made the main treasure from this place acid proof rocks.
Because otherwise how would this place exists?
And of course I added a change you might fall into the acid.
All in all, its pretty straight forward. Try not to fall in.

And next after that is Dragon Valley.
Look, who doesn't love dinosaurs? They're just fun.
Dinosaurs have been a staple of TTRPGs from the start.
Probably because they are a very accessible option for Miniature play.
Along with Zoo animals, and GI Joe.
This specific location was inspired by Edger Rice Burrough's Pellucidar series.
Hence why it can be underground.
The Wyvern Priestesses are pulled directly from that series too.
I also made the decision that Dinosaurs would use my Mundane Animals rules.
I did this so they could be more flexible, and it would be easier to make new ones.
The dinos here are just a greatest hits list. I don't even have a Triceratops.
Please feel free to make new ones with the animal making rules.
The general vibe of this location is also Early Days. The sun is literally always at dawn.
This is one of the locations which is also an era. The age of reptiles.
Outdated science has been used here as well.
Like the brontosaurus being associated with swamps.
This place is less Dinosaurs as we know them, and more as we knew them in the 60s-80s.
That is to say, basically dragons for stone age pulp fantasy.
Also yes, wyverns are basically pterosaurs.
Hope you enjoy this land before fur!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed these locations.
Stay tuned for the final one of these posts.
The full book is just around the corner!
Regards,
