My next plugin will be: "Extended Target"

✨ Extended Target ✨
Give your items and skills a new life on the map!

With Extended Target, your items and skills are no longer limited to party members. Now you can point them directly to events on the map and create more dynamic, playful interactions!

Heal a friendly NPC, power up a robot, open a door with a tool, or trigger special reactions when the player uses the right item on the right event. 💡

🎯 What can you do with Extended Target?

  • Let players use items directly on events on the map.
  • Create puzzles that react only to specific items. 🧩
  • Make NPCs that get healed, helped or activated by skills.
  • Trigger special scenes when the player uses the right item.
  • Choose targets from a list of nearby events.
  • Highlight events on the map to show what can be used. 🔍
  • Show a small symbol on items that can interact with events.

💡 Simple usage ideas

  • Use a key item on a locked chest to open it. 🔑
  • Throw water on a fire to clear the way.🔥➡💧
  • Feed a creature with a special item to calm it. 🐾
  • Repair a broken machine by using metal or parts. ⚙️
  • Cast a spell on a statue to reveal a secret path. ✨

🌍 Make your maps feel alive

Extended Target helps you turn simple events into interactive situations that react to the player in a more natural way. Items and skills become tools to explore, solve, repair and experiment directly on the map.

If you enjoy creating puzzles, side quests and special scenes, this plugin gives you a flexible base to build many different ideas without touching your battle system.

💫 I hope you like the idea! 💫

It will be available in a few days!

I am leaving you some screenshots so you can get a first look:

inspired by Darkest dungeon? Interesting.I look forward to see how it improves over eventing.

In fact, I was more inspired by role-playing games; lately, I've been playing with my friends games like Baldur's Gate or Solasta, and I didn't find anything similar that was "simple" to use in RPG Maker MZ, so I thought it would be interesting to create it. I hope you like it ^^
