Ball Knight - Feedback for my game

Howdy! I just released my new game Ball Knight. It is my first release outside of game jam submissions. As such, I would appreciate any feedback for my game. I made a lot of mistakes and learnt a lot of lessons during development. Be as honest as possible. Your feedback is valuable to me.

Check it out here: https://wolfmakesgames.itch.io/ball-knight

Thanks! And stay safe!

It's a neat little game!

I would like to suggest you some things:

When one run is over - insert a little info for the player.

Some enemies disappear in the middle of the screen when not getting hit - which looks kinda omnious (seems like a bug)

Also hitted a invisible wall (happened only 1 time) which bounced me backwards.

Hopefully i could help you a little bit. :)

Hey Dominik! Thanks for checking out my game!

Unfortunately, I probably won't update this game due to stuff irl, but if I make something similar in the future, I'll keep these in mind.

Suggestion 1 - That's a pretty neat idea that I overlooked when developing

Suggestion 2 - They weren't supposed to disappear originally. However, when I was trying to make an Android version, I made several optimizations - minimizing enemy count was one of them. That being said, that was probably the most short sighted approach I've taken.

Suggestion 3 - That I've not heard of. Definitely a bug

Still, thanks for the input man!

You are welcome!

Keep going with your great work!
