Everytime I try to open it the game says its missing msvcp140.dll
Did you install the C++ redistributables? In the game's installation page it should say:
Please install the Visual Studio C++ 2019 redistributable if it's not already installed on your system prior to launching the game.

I did. I downloaded the one that matched my operating system and ran it a couple of times (I believe it was done the right way?)
Oh! I got it working - for some reason I needed the 32 bit even though I'm pretty sure I'm a 64 bit computer. So sorry to bother you but thank you for the help!
