Thank you very much for visiting.

Visit here on itch and give it a go for yourself!

I'm very much looking for some feedback and criticism for my RPG Maker game called Heavens Heroes Unite.

I've been making this game since 2014 and work on it when I'm not on my days off and after work. When I came to Itch last year it flopped badly here. It was a good game then and even found my way to the front page of itch. A day later it sank, seemed to get lost with the other badly designed games, and realisation of doom kicked in.

Only I really played it, I found many bugs, rushed out updates to cover tracks, I thought I could keep updating the story each month with a target of 2 hours a day at least and fell in to problems and still had many things to fix. The time I spent testing (which were many were not enough) It was rough and my game lacked any soul which frustrated me dearly...

I went away after removing my game due to all the frustration and just kept making the world and story, keeping in mind I let allot of people down who would have played before.  I didn't give up and clearly didn't want to lose what I started.

So I really got under the hood of RPG Maker while improving the game dramatically,  I'm back to see if anyone would like a go at my game after many lessons learned, time spent deciding if oversized bust shots would bring me any luck to my game.

I'm still developing more improvements and systems, appealing for feedback with any encouraging words would be a plus, no matter how good or bad.

The demo is 20 minutes long, 95% of the music I had created for the title, pixel art and a beautiful custom night to day system with my own reflection script,  which I never thought I could do, and took months to get the right sounds, balance and feel. The demo can be played in a variety of different ways. Any advice and feedback would really help out as I would really like make a positive impact for the engine which many really overlook.

So far the game has 6 Chapters completed of a fully rehearsed story, you'll play through some of Chapter 1 in the demo, I'm aiming at just completing the game as a whole and offering early access to a small crowd of supporters!

I'm here to help if you need any support while playing, or if you're stuck understanding what is going on.

Sorry for the whole doomed diary of events, but this was the broken reality of making my very first game, flopping and going through stuff, I didn't want to seem like some guy that spent a week using RPG Maker who made a flashy game, I really poured my heart and soul in to the project, It's been a journey I hope people may want to follow.

Well, cheers for reading. I've more to do,

Take care and thanks for visiting my post.
