I don't understand. I've bought a bundle and now sitting here with a release from 1 year ago and game still not added to STEAM. I see the new releases on Patreon. When I purchased a bundle it was described as:

One-time purchase for the FULL EXPERIENCE. NO DLC, NO Seasons, NO Monthly Costs

In the original version, which is being localized and enhanced for PC in episodic updates on the 1st of each month, CH features:

Developed with passion since 2018 with 70+ hours of story

there was no updates for a year. Why should I pay for more content if i was promised One-time purchase with updates every 1st of each month?

Hi! You're 100% correct on your question and we are very sorry for what is happening. Let me explain where we are at:

1) Since july 2025 itch deindexed all the paid nsfw games and did not give any steps moving forward for us. They said were looking for new partners to process the payment and never updated their stance. We actually are freezed right now. We are waiting for them to give NSFW developers any news or info before we take a step forward.

2) A lot of games have been removed from the platform completely, some got back making some changes. These changes were made completely in the dark. We do not actually know what we are doing, Itch keep us developers in the dark. We understand they are working things in the background (we hope), but we are actually afraid to release content and get banned for some reason we do not understand. This actually happens a lot in platforms that we rely on. We tried to release a free demo version and it got deinxed too, to this day we do not know why. And we stop trying to understand what itch wants. We prefer to just wait, give a step back and get back when we are at lease have more info.

3) About Steam, they changed their policy around adult games and do not let adult games launch in Early Access anymore, so the game need to be ready for a 1.0 release before launching there.

4) The game keep being developed. We love CH, PS and BB. CH is our first game and we keep working on it. Your question is actually very flaterring because show us you want to keep playing and that is the most important for us. If you can, please check patreon.com/geikogames to get the last update for only $5 (you'll have a lot of new content). As soon Itch give us more info we'll keep updating here. Until there, we are afraid to lose our account.

5) Our team at Geiko Games is working hard, launching new games, including a new platform app.geiko.net with free games. We'll return stronger than before you can be sure of it. And thank your for your comment.

My question was why I need to pay extra for a new episode if I was promised free updates? Give us, who've bought the bundle free access to your patreon. I'm not saying about top tiers but just to be able to download a new content. In my eyes it is legit decision to get out of this satiation with itch. Otherwise it sounds only as excuse to earn more money via patreon.

Hi! Those are legit points. Let me respond to them:

1) There is no way to configure a free patreon for those who buy games here on itch. We can do the other way tho, in the admin we can configure to give games here for those who support on patreon.

2) You don't need to pay for updates. As soon this problem with itch is solved or at least they give us some indication that games won't get ban we can get back to update over here.

3) We have a big and solid operation on our home country for more than 8 years. We don't want to milk players. We are just protecting our global viability through patience and information. If Itch bans our account we can't finish distributing the game at all.

We understand and appreciate you wanting to continue the game and Celebrity Hunter was doing incredible well here at itch. We all got affected by their changes last year. I bet they got too. It's a terrible situation for our niche right now. But we hope to get out of this soon!
