When I click to start the game, it just shows a black screen, nothing loads, nothing happens.
hm, strange, can you look into your browsers console? F12 key or command option i and if there is some errors paste them here?
Im using my laptop to play the game so I don't have a F12 key.
so it might show you the console with command option i instead. btw on which browser are you?
I do chrome
then it shal work :) was tested on at least three different chromes on windows, linux and mac os..
However, try the command option i keaybord command to get into the DevTools and there in the Console which shall say whats bothering it :)
we found the issue, sadly until the jam votings end, we ar enot allowed to deploy the fix..
