I looked into it and it seems that Linux builds only natively support Ubuntu LTS releases.
Best and easiest advice I can give you is to add the Windows build to Steam as a non-steam game and set up the properties to run through compatibility via Proton. If you don't have Steam, then the next best option is to install Wine 11 and try to run the Windows build through it.
