Hello everyone!

I wanted to post a proper update so players know exactly what’s happening with Take Care of Tails over the next few days.

Starting June 2 through June 5, I’ll be taking a short break from active development on TCOT. This is not a cancellation or a shutdown — just a temporary pause so I can step back, recharge, and come back with fresh energy and better ideas for the next phase of the game.

During this break, the project will not be sitting still.

I’ve given full access to two people who help manage the TCOT itch.io page:

• Vidigrid

He’s already added some things to the game, and honestly, I really liked what he contributed. Even if he’s still learning Scratch, he understands the vibe of the project and has been doing a great job experimenting and improving things.

• Devod Games

He hasn’t had a chance to jump in yet, but he also has full permission to edit, update, or tweak anything he wants. I’ll be reminding him so he knows he’s welcome to contribute during this break.

Both of them have Scratch accounts that I created specifically so they could help with development, and they’re listed as managers on the itch.io page. That means they can update files, fix small issues, add features, or polish things while I’m away.

⭐ What This Means for the Game

- TCOT is not abandoned

- TCOT is not on hiatus

- TCOT is simply in team‑managed mode for a few days

- You may see small updates or changes made by Vidigrid or Devod

- I will return to full development on June 5

This break is just to keep myself from burning out and to let the team experiment a bit while I’m gone.

⭐ Thank You for Supporting the Project

Every comment, download, and bit of feedback helps keep this game alive. TCOT started as a small idea, and it’s growing into something much bigger — and I appreciate everyone who’s been following along.

I’ll be back soon with more updates, more features, and more Tails stuff. Maybe even new sprites!!!! I'm actually planning on switching the sonic 2 sprites to either mania or sonic 3 sprites.

There are several things I need to mention. I have several ideas, some of which I've already implemented in Tanky Tank, but I'll apply them to this game. I also have a mini-game in mind called Apple Grabber, where you have to move left or right and catch falling apples to score points. If you lose five apples, you lose the mini-game. But I really need some free time to work on all of that.
