Documentation Needed

Hey, New player here so if this already exist just let me know, but I think it'd be very beneficial to have some documentation of all 50+ actions you can take with the AI. I have played 3-4 runs now and every time I ask the AI advisor what I should do i get the same 3-4 answers of Rally, Grassroots, Fundraise, and townhall. Also I think better documentation of how each thing works would be nice too, like it took me a few runs to realize I wasn't making money by doing the Fundraising mini -game, I had to actually do it for my 1 weekly action to actually get money from it. Love the game, and love the concept!

Hello, thanks for playing and glad you like it. I hadn' thought about adding that, so I'll make some documentation, then also make the AI give you other suggestions. Because I have been focusing on the desktop version, i haven't had time to update the web one.

I didn't know there was a desktop version honestly. Can you point me in the direction of the install for that? Also, I have tried to join the new Discord and not matter what I do it says the invite is invalid.

I am currently working on the desktop version, so I haven't advertised it yet, the discord will get early access, and have you tried pasting the link into the web browser? I'll update it to a new one

documentation up (link in description), and discord link updated

that is awesome. I am in the discord now and i have read the doc. My only question is in the Primary I constantly get attacked by everyone I am facing and it tanks my Approval/Favorability. How do you counter that?

Developer

Thanks for joining the discord, here is what I would do:

your first move should probably be the Spin Room Session or Crisis Response to limit the immediate effect. don't try to fight back while you're already hurt. Once you've stabilized, use Rapid Response to counter-punch, since it's lower risk than full Opposition Research and built for exactly that situation. Then rebuild your favorability with a Policy Address or Coalition Building action. The biggest mistake is going straight for Opposition Research when your numbers are already down, because the backfire risk gets much worse in that state.

(Note: the current AI may not let you do those stuff even if you ask for it, will be patched tomorrow)
