Since I did not find an entry on protonDB I can say it runs out of the box when launching via steam  (in Steam Games Menu->add non steam game to library and then choose the game, then set compatibility options. I was runnning it on proton-GE). Alernate launchers like heroic also work well.
Even launching it with wine from terminal works
