Scroll Demo – Now Available

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share the first demo for Scroll.

Scroll is a top-down RPG focused on player choice instead of fixed classes. Your stats, equipment, and decisions shape how you play, whether that means going heavy melee, leaning into magic, or mixing things up.

This project started as a small prototype, RPG Scroll 1K, built in PICO-8, and has grown into something much bigger. I’ve since moved development over to Picotron, so this is my first full game using it. You can check out the original here: https://joeamericagayms.itch.io/rpg-scoll-1k

This demo is still early and very much a work in progress, so you may run into bugs or unfinished areas. If you do, feel free to post in the Bugs & Errors section. Any feedback or suggestions are really appreciated and help shape where the game goes next.
