does anyone know how to transfer my 1.7 save to 1.8? I really don't want to restart and have to redo everything lol

Unfortunately, there's no safe way to transfer your 1.7 save to 1.8. A lot of things got changed on the backend so it's HIGHLY recommended (pretty much required) to start a brand new save.
