This game is a work in progress. I welcome all constructive comments about the game.

Hey Howard! Played for a bit and wanted to share my initial thoughts

Art style - Love it! Great visual effects (especially the lighting and shadows), colour pallette works really well, the big wipe-out explosions are VERY satisfying

Music - Also love it! Reminds me a lot of other 2D games (Galcon Fusion comes to mind with some of it). Nice variety (at least in my limited playtime). Sometimes the audio loops skip a little on the browser version

Gameplay - Good level of challenge. The short turnaround times after dying are very good as I wanted to immediately try again. Power-ups are well spaced and rewarding. Level two; not entirely sure how it's supposed to end. The screen stops scrolling with a short distance to go! That might be an error on my part though so thoughts would be appreciated!

A few other personal thoughts. I found myself instintively pressing the spacebar to jump instead of W. I did eventually stop but maybe alternate keybinds might be an option? (or just make lazy people like me actually learn the controls!). I liked the tutorial being quite snappy but I found the first 10 or so runs were a learning experience on some of the mechanics (maybe I just rushed through the tutorial too fast and missed the explanations!)

Overall, I am not usally a fan of this style of game but I did enjoy playing it! I can definitely see some of friends enjoying it as well.

Like a banana, it's got appeal!
