Hey everyone! 👋

After months of late nights and endless hex tweaking, I'm excited to share the very first public build of my solo-dev project: Obsidian Abyss Descent

Important note: This is super early in development. The core loop is here—plunging into infinite procedural depths with razor-sharp obsidian pillars piercing ragged organic caves on a flat-top hex grid, slashing ethereal ghost skulls with your knight, sealing rooms for intense clear-or-die fights, and descending ever deeper with only your torch for light.

But a ton will change and grow over time. Mechanics, art, balance, features—expect drastic shifts as I iterate. Don't be shocked by big changes; get excited for the possibilities! This is just the raw foundation of what's to come.

Fully playable in-browser (desktop + mobile) with fluid controls and energy-based attacks.

Feedback is gold at this stage—what feels promising, what needs work, wild ideas welcome.

Thanks for diving in early!
