i tried downloading 0.9 to check it out and the zip is giving a 0x8000FFFF: Catastrophic Failure (which i have never seen before) when attempted to extract/open and i dont know what i did wrong. is this happening for anyone else or is this just me? and does anyone know how to fix?

Edit: Issue resolved, you MUST use 7zip to extract the folder, the built-in windows extractor will NOT work and will cause this error.

I grabbed the download that's on the page and attempted to extract with 7 zip then winrar, both result with failures of run as I get a critical error on load. I think the version packaged up might be corrupt or have an error on load. Might need to wait a bit for an update from the folks making the game.

I tried 7 Zip at first but, that still had the error. I had to download WinRAR to finally get it to open...... Yeah.... Something about how they had compressed this file was not it.

Im using 7 zip aswell. I tried installing with the launcher also. I can open the game but I get the same error about cannot load object. Then you cannot pass the tutorial as it messes up on the last part after data processing. I just want to test out the new version. 

Bit of an update. Also running on Windows 11, same error. Also said that "Downloads is invalid" or something to that extent. Didn't matter where I moved the Zip, same issue, would just change the name and say it's still invalid.

the error you get at the start of main menu is a debug message and can be safely ignored

you're not getting stuck on the tutorial after data processing, you're not reading the part where it tells you to just go down the tunnel (i know it says to listen to the signal but thas currently bugged)
