I'm playing the old school version, and have no idea what to do after clearing the orcs and slimes from the house in town.   I read the journal, it said there was a key and nothing.........there's stairs but they're blocked by bones.. help would be great! 

I no longer have access to the original and only have the copy from here which is a release version. I wonder what happened here because I tested this version before release and did a full playthrough but theres no bones there in the new version so I am a little confounded. If you confirmed you read the book on the table near the stairs that should allow you to go into the basement. Such a good cutscene awaits you and the rest of the game is much easier to navigate like the other districts and locations the residential district was grand but too big and a big regret I fixed it up greatly in the remaster. I can try to help you get through this and see if your save can be saved or I can provide a free copy of the remaster if you would like! It has been tested by not just me but another as well to the end of the game plus I have the most current version and can edit and look at anything wrong. Sorry this happened though and I do hope I can save your save file because the original is a gem and would be a shame if it cant be beaten :(

I did notice the screen slightly shifted.....all previous saves do the same......took me 5 hours to run back every save to that point... Meh shit happens bro, the game was still awesome till then tho lol

It could be my end start glitch, bcuz I run COD and KOTOR just fine with no prob
