Since this game requires a bit of playing around to figure out the mechanics, I've created a little guide with some common FAQ stuff.

I've gone through the FAQ and my question still hasn't been answered!

That's okay. Just post a comment down below and I might add it to the FAQ. Because if you have the question, I'm sure someone else has it too. :)

How do I use the grinder/furnace?

Place any items you want to smelt inside the furnace/grinder and then exit the furnace/grinder using the interact key (e). A light should come on above the furnace/grinder. When the items are finished, you may access the smelter/grinder to get them out.

How do I complete my quota?

You can place any items in the central elevator in the top slot and watch them get vacuumed up by state of the art technology.

My inventory is flooded. Help!

You can use "Q" to throw any items you don't need out of your inventory. Once you have some space, you can create a crate and put items you don't need in there. You can even mine the crate to put it in your inventory and take crates with you while mining. But be careful! If you don't complete your quota or you die then you will loose all the items in your inventory, including those crates.

Do items despawn when they aren't in a crate?

Yes, but only after five minutes.

I'm stuck in a hole, how do I get out?

Craft ladders. If you can't craft ladders, then you can attempt to mine your way back home using your pickaxe, but bring ladders next time.

Can I take screenshots or the game?

Yes you can! Just use the screenshot button, F12, and your screenshots will be saved to your computer's %appdata% folder. You can get these at any time by going to "%appdata%\screenshots\CondemnedToExplode.exe"

Can I play on Mac or Linux?

Not currently. While the game is made with Love2D, so a Mac or Linux port should in theory be fairly simple, the game is only being distributed on Windows since I don't have easy access to a Mac or Linux machine for testing quality. However, I am open to the idea of making a Linux or Mac port of the game.

I lost my pickaxe, now what?
